A West Coast Killer, the "OG" has been putting fish in the box for years. Originally developed on the East Coast, the "OG" has been improved to decrease weight and drag. Original east coast bars are big and bulky. We wanted to create a bar that puts less drag on your gear and is easier to use. We use a small center bird that is light weight and have found that the 9 inch teasers are sufficient in enticing big fish here on the west coast. There is no need for the 15 inch heavy teasers so often used in the past. This bar puts up a ton of water and has proven time and time again to be the best option for those just getting into the game of spreader bars.
A 1/8 inch grade 5 Titanium Bar is used resulting in a strong yet flexible and light weight platform. These Bars include 5 drops, rattles, and 13 floating squid in various sizes. Our Spreader Bars are hand constructed in Southern California using top quality materials. We use 300lb smoke blue mono for all drops, Aluminum sleeves, two 5 inch light weight splash birds to ensure maximum splash, and a chase bait rigged with either 200 or 300lb Flourocarbon. We use chafe protectors on all center line connections and a 450lb ball bearing snap swivel to attach the chase bait. We utilize a 9/0 or 11/0 super strong 7691 SS hook depending on chase bait size, and a durable carrying case. Our bars have floats inserted in each teaser. This helps to keep the bar from sinking when left out behind the boat and fighting another fish.
